As part of our course preparing for the study abroad experience in Australia, we were required to select an agriculture sector within the country and conduct a comparative study with the United States. I chose to delve into the Seafood Industry, examining its practices, challenges, and then contrasted these findings with the corresponding sector in the US. The culmination of this research was a class presentation where I shared insights into the similarities, differences, and potential lessons learned between the two nations' agricultural industries.

In preparation for my study abroad experience in Australia, I was tasked with writing a 2-3 page pre-trip reflection. I reflected on my expectations, goals, and fears, considering how the experience might challenge and broaden my perspectives. I explored my motivations for studying abroad, what I hoped to gain from the experience, and any concerns I had about cultural differences or academic challenges. This reflection served as a foundation for self-awareness and goal-setting as I embarked on my transformative journey.

Following the culmination of our study abroad experience in Australia, we were tasked with compiling a 10-page photo journal reflection. Integrating visual and written elements, I documented key moments, experiences, and insights gained during my time in Australia. Through this reflective journey, I aimed to encapsulate the cultural, academic, and personal growth achieved throughout the study abroad program, offering a comprehensive narrative enriched by imagery and introspection.
