As part of our course preparing for the study abroad experience in Panama, we were required to select an agriculture sector within the country and conduct a comparative study with the United States. I chose to delve into the Rice Industry, examining its practices, challenges, and then contrasted these findings with the corresponding sector in the US. The culmination of this research was a class presentation where I shared insights into the similarities, differences, and potential lessons learned between the two nations' agricultural industries.
Following my study abroad experience in Panama, I was tasked with crafting a reflective essay to encapsulate the insights gained and lessons learned throughout my journey. I dove into how my expectations, goals, and fears were challenged and reshaped by the experience. I explore the nuances of cultural immersion, academic growth, and personal development, offering a candid examination of the impact of my time abroad on my self-awareness and future aspirations.

Following the culmination of our study abroad experience in Panama, we were tasked with compiling a 10-page photo journal reflection. Integrating visual and written elements, I documented key moments, experiences, and insights gained during my time in Panama. Through this reflective journey, I aimed to encapsulate the cultural, academic, and personal growth achieved throughout the study abroad program, offering a comprehensive narrative enriched by imagery and introspection.
