State FFA OfficeThe chance to serve as a state officer comes with many opportunities to influence, impact and serve FFA members, advisors, teachers, and supporters of the organization. These opportunities to lead and impact are invaluable and represent what the service to FFA is all about. I served as the 2021-2022 Southeast State Vice President. I got the chance to impact over 18,600+ Iowa FFA members through chapter visits, speeches at banquets, legislator interactions, preparing and facilitating countless conferences, and presenting a motivational keynote address to over 6,000 FFA members at the 94th Iowa FFA Leadership Conference.

94th Iowa FFA Leadership Conference - Retiring Address My retiring address was given at the 94th Iowa FFA State Leadership Conference in front of over 6,000 FFA members, advisors, and guests. I presented an eight-minute keynote address. My goal was to inspire the young students to embrace who they are, even the embarrassing moments, and embrace it with a smile. |
94th Iowa FFA Leadership Conference - Third Session
I prepared the Third General Session for the 94th Iowa FFA Leadership Conference. This conference had over 6,000 FFA members, advisors, and guest present. My session was a two-hour-long production highlighting sponsors, awarding FFA members who excelled in contests, listening to keynote speakers and more. Prior to the convention, I had to be in contact with keynote speakers, sponsors, media, and award recipients. I also had to create a script, and seating charts, work with AV, and more. |

Throughout my year of service, I got the opportunity to travel to over 50 chapters and interact with thousands of FFA members. I would attend the chapter for various reasons whether it was for a visit, banquet, awards ceremony, fundraising event, National FFA Week, or to give motivational speeches. I put over 33,000 miles on my car traveling across Iowa and got the chance to impact and influence thousands of FFA members. I also produced a chapter visit video that was displayed on all socials encouraging chapters to invite Iowa FFA to their school.

I served as the Southeast State Vice President. Which means I was also the Southeast District President. As the District President, I was in charge of planning and managing all district functions. In the summer we had the COLT Conference, Chapter Officer Leadership Training. I had over 150 FFA members in attendance. In the fall we had GFU, Greenhand Fire-Up Conference, with over 800 Freshman FFA members in attendance. I also facilitated the IAT Conference, Ignite Amplify Transform, produced by the State. I created a video production for this conference that was displayed on all our socials prior to the event.
